Daniel Radcliffe Gets Props from Broadway’s Original Equus Cast

The word “props” has been synonymous with “respect” for some time now, but when representatives from the original and revival productions of Equus gathered onstage before a matinee performance at the Broadhurst Theatre on November 12, it seemed everyone was “gettin’ props” in one way or another. Joined by current star Daniel Radcliffe, the six actors who portray the horses presented a restored headpiece from the 1974 Broadway production to veteran actress Elaine Bromka, whose husband, Peter Phillips, wore the horse mask during the national tour and while understudying for the role of Nugget at the Helen Hayes Theatre.
