David Mamet’s polarizing 1992 play Oleanna is finally getting its Broadway debut in a production, directed by Doug Hughes, at the Golden Theatre. Starring Julia Stiles (also in her Broadway debut) as a college student with a strict sense of justice and Bill Pullman (returning to the theater where he performed The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? in 2002) as her professor, the play still manages to provoke audiences. After the opening night performance on October 11, the company of the small show headed to nearby by Blue Fin to greet famous well-wishers, chat with the press and sip fruity cocktails.
