Debbie Goes Legit Off-Broadway
Talk about moving up in the world! Debbie, that randy teen cheerleader who has hosted many a stag party as the star of the vintage porno Debbie Does Dallas, has gone legit! That's right--the stage adaptation that was the hit of the 2001 NYCFringe Festival is now revamped for an open run at off-Broadway's Jane Street Theatre. Sherie Rene Scott of Aida and The Last Five Years fame, is shaking her pom-poms nightly in the title role. Broadway.com caught up with the cast at the opening night bash on October 29 at Trattoria Dopo Teatro.
