An eclectic group of big-name theater alums and supporters joined forces May 22, honoring industry professionals and the spirit of aspiring artists during Performance Space 122's 2008 Spring Gala. Headed by Membership Chair Claire Danes, the Spring Gala fetes P.S. 122, a space dedicated to providing dance, theater, music and performance artists a place to present new works which might otherwise go without a home. The night, which drew fans of downtown's staple avant-garde energy, was punctuated by performances and appearances by veterans like Steve Buscemi, Rosie O'Donnell and The Blue Man Group, actor Tom "Alien Comic" Murrin and producer Lori E.
