Dukakis, Groff & Co. Celebrate Opening Night of The Singing Forest

The plot is too convoluted to sum up, but Craig Lucas’ sprawling new play The Singing Forest displays the power of his fertile imagination. Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis stars at matriarch Loë Rieman, a former psychoanalyst who has a fractured relationship with her own kids—and a side business as a phone sex provider to folks like a young actor played by Jonathan Groff.
