Something dark and a little bit twisted is brewing in one fictional New York family's apartment, and you can find it at Playwrights Horizons. The theater company's current production, off-Broadway regular Nicky Silver's Three Changes, celebrated its opening on September 16, bringing the dysfunctional relationships of one Upper West Side couple and their les- than-welcome visitor to life at Playwrights' 42nd Street space. The show, featuring heartthrob Dylan McDermott, ER's Maura Tierney, Scott Cohen, Aya Cash and Brian J. Smith may be darker than some of Silver's other fare, but the successful opening and cheers of approval from the audience quickly brought smiles to the faces of everyone involved—especially once the party started!
