The Lark Theatre Company is kicking off their new Overtures series of one-night-only, concert-style readings with Earth Girls Are Easy, a new musical adaptation of the campy 1989 film of the same name. The benefit will star Kristin Chenoweth, Marc Kudisch, Hunter Foster, Deven May, Roxane Barlow, Steve Wilson, Lisa Capps and Julie Brown, who starred in and co-wrote the original film. We caught an early rehearsal for the show, which promises to be a wild and wooly evening, according to the Lark's invite!
