Embedded Opens with a Bang
Tim Robbins' Embedded is a satirical look at a war in a country that sounds an awful lot like Iraq. Its opening night party on March 15 was at Public, a restaurant that sounds an awful lot like the theater it plays in, …the Public. In the play, the actors wear masks and all names are changed to mock the guilty--Gomorrah instead of Iraq, Babylon instead of Baghdad, "the new Hitler" instead of Hussein. At the party, all masks came off--and Broadway.com got it all on film. Check out the photos!
