Feeling celebrity deprived post-Tonys? Well, we have an event sure to quench your desire to see photos of stage stars: the renaming of the Martin Beck Theatre on June 23 in honor of famed cartoonist Al Hirschfeld. While Hirschfeld died earlier this year at the age of 100, this celebration was anything but sad. Instead, some of the biggest names on Broadway--most of whom have been caricatured by the artist--headed to the theater on 45th Street (currently home to
Man of La Mancha) to perform and share stories about the Broadway legend before officially renaming the house the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Take a look at our shots of the celebration.
