The cast of the current off-Broadway revival of The Fantasticks had an extra-special visitor on October 30: the utterly fantastic Rita Gardner, who created the role of Luisa way back in the spring of 1960! Now appearing nearby as hip grandma Rosie in The Wedding Singer, Gardner was reunited with Fantasticks composer (and former co-star) Tom Jones and warmly greeted her 2006 counterpart, Sara Jean Ford, and the rest of the cast after their performance at the Snapple Theatre Center.
