Jordan Tyson and Joy Woods get ready in the Allies' dressing room.

"It’s weird when you start a show just before awards season starts because it feels like the gun shoots and you’re off to the races," says Joy Woods. "Then all that dies down and you can focus on just doing the show."

Jordan Tyson gets in her first costume for the top of the show.

Tyson's mirror is sprinkled with notes: "Some of them are affirmations for myself. I just like to have them looking at me.”

Ensemble member Hillary Fisher makes her Broadway debut in The Notebook.

Dorcas Leung shows off her bllion dollar winnings from a company-wide game of Traitors: "I haven't cashed it yet."

Swing Kim Onah has a station filled with pictures of friends and family, "and of course, my Traitors mask."

Happy McPartlin understudies Older Allie, Mother and Nurse Lori in the show. She's also taking up residence in the same dressing room she occupied during her run with Come From Away.

Swing Juliette Ojeda shows us her personal dressing room nook: "This is my corner. If you can’t find me, I’m here sleeping.”

John Cardoza settles in for a performance as Young Noah.

Among the items on Cardoza's mirror are quotes from the Nicholas Sparks novel, a note from his high school drama teacher and some photos from his high school years.

Ryan Vasquez, The Notebook's Middle Noah, picks an Oracle Card from the deck: "I draw one just to give me something to think about for the show."

Vasquez smiles in the mirror. Spot the ghost and miniature trophy at his station—prizes to soften the blow of his demise in The Notebook's game of Traitors.

After minimal hair fluffing and some tattoo covering, the Noahs are ready to go.

Swing Alex Benoit sits by the boys' costume rack.

Chase Del Rey: "The fridge is kind of legendary. We gotta get one shot with the fridge."

Charlie Webb pulls out the guitar that features in the cast's stairwell jam sessions.

Carson Stewart, who plays Johnny, shows off his personalized bobblehead, hand-crafted by a fan: "The fans get really creative."

Dorian Harewood, The Notebook's Tony-nominated Older Noah, gets his mic on before heading down to the stage.

One last smile before places

Maryann Plunkett, who earned a Tony nomination for her performance as Older Allie, looks up at a photo on her mirror: "That's my mom, who my performance is dedicated to. She lived with dementia, so that is a special picture."

Plunkett flips through her Notebook notebook, which she's kept since her first workshop with the show.

The diary was a gift from composer Ingrid Michaelson: "This has been my chronicle through the years of The Notebook."
