Second Stage Theatre Announces Broadway Season; See Pics of Kenneth Lonergan & More

Second Stage Theatre Artistic Director, Carole Rothman, announced the company’s inaugural season on Broadway at the renovated Helen Hayes Theater on April 20.

Scribe Kenneth Lonergan and director Trip Cullman will kick off the season with Lobby Hero.

The gang's all here! Jon Robin Baitz, Lynn Nottage, Young Jean Lee, Paula Vogel and Will Eno make up the co-commission of playwrights with Los Angeles’ Center Theatre Group. Plays by these scribes will begin at CTG and then transfer to New York.

Second Stage will also co-commission a new work from Bess Wohl for Broadway.
