Grease Is the Word for Paper Mill
Sandy, Danny, Rizzo, Kenickie and the whole Rydell class of '59 will soon be back together again in a new production of Grease, set to open June 6 at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse. On May 29 the fresh, young cast of the classic screen to stage musical invited us for a sneak peak at their rehearsals at 890 Broadway. For the first time in the New York area, this new version will feature tunes from the movie like "You're the One that I Want," “Sandy” and “Hopelessly Devoted to You” as well as all the hits from the original stage production.
