Gypsy’s Dainty June Helps Planet Hollywood Go Broadway

Basking in her own spotlight, Dainty June was at last free from Momma Rose during an afternoon appearance at Planet Hollywood on December 18. That’s when Gypsy star Leigh Ann Larkin, whose winning turn as the frustrated Dainty June is one of the acclaimed revival’s many highlights, made her way to the restaurant/showbiz museum to present June’s blue-satin, baby-doll dress and that ever-memorable  cow’s head for display. Helping to present the Broadway objets d’art were castmates Sami Gayle, who plays Larkin’s younger self in the show, and Katie Micha, who plays Balloon Girl. (She’s had Patti LuPone jab her with a pin eight times a week since March!) The Gypsy gear is booked for an open-ended exhibit at Planet Hollywood, so check it out and click on for a preview!
