Hair Gets a 40th Anniversary Gig on The Late Show with David Letterman

In the spring of 1969, the youthful cast of the Broadway musical Hair performed on The Ed Sullivan Show. Exactly 40 years later, on April 30, another youthful Broadway cast sang the same medley of “Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine In” on the same stage. This time, their performance was broadcast on Late Night with David Letterman, which tapes at the Ed Sullivan Theatre.
