Harvey Fierstein Bids Farewell to Hairspray
A Broadway.com Exclusive! Oh, Harvey! How can we properly say goodbye to you in a little Photo Op paragraph? How can we tell you how your performance as Edna Turnblad in Hairspray had us laughing, clapping and calling our mothers when it was over? How can we tell you how much your tireless fundraising efforts for charities inspired us? Oy! We've hardly gotten started praising you, honey. Before we get all verklempt, we're just going to show you the photos from Fierstein's final performance in Hairspray on May 2 (also the final show for Kathy Brier, who's been playing Tracy since late last summer) and the farewell (karaoke!) party at Eugene's.
