Henry V Opening: Once More Unto the Park
There's nothing like Shakespeare under the stars on a warm summer night, and July 15 turned out to be the perfect evening for the opening of the Public Theatre's Henry V, this year's free offering at Central Park's Delacorte Theatre. The classic history play features a talented cast headed by Shakespeare pro Liev Schreiber in the title role. Public Theater producer George C. Wolfe is a smart cookie, and so the occasion also served as the theater company's summer benefit, which honored attorney John Breglio. All in all it was the sort of balmy, exquisite evening that was further enhanced by the beautiful people in attendance. Take a look!
