Odeon, the still-kicking landmark of ‘80s downtown glamour, served as the appropriate place for recording artists of the new Bright Lights, Big City album to get together. They met there for a private dinner on June 29 to celebrate the release of the record on the Sh-K-Boom Records label. Stars Patrick Wilson, Jesse L. Martin and Sherie Rene Scott (the Sh in Sh-K-Boom ) are among the voices featured on the recording of the rock ‘n' roll opera, which is based on Jay McInerney's novel of the same name and centers on the greed-is-good era of New York City.
