Make Me a Song harmonized beautifully into its opening night on Monday, November 12, at the New World Stages on West 50th Street. Starring a talented quartet of singers, the New York premiere of this musical revue, which features songs culled from the canon of the Tony Award-winning composer of
Falsettos and
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, drew a showbiz crowd of worshippers to savor such fantastical Finn compositions as
A New Brain's "Sailing,"
Romance in Hard Times' "That's Enough of Me" and
Elegies' "Only One," as well as a thrilling medley fashioned from Finn's cult hit
Falsettos. At the after-party at Bann on West 50th Street, we joined the cast, director Rob Ruggiero plus a pack of fans to toast th
