Jack O'Brien Honored at the Acting Company's Masquerade Ball

Some people can never be honored enough. Such is the case with director extraordinaire honor Jack O'Brien. O'Brien was presented with the John Houseman Award at the Acting Company's Annual Black & White Masquerade Ball on October 24 at the Starlight Roof of the Waldrof-Astoria Hotel. O'Brien, who has directed a long list of show and is currently represented on the Great White Way with Hairspray and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Other recent Broadway credits include The Full Monty, Henry IV and The Invention of Love. Fiddler on the Roof star )and former Hairspray lead) Harvey Fierstein hosted the event, which featured performances from Joanna Gleason (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Darlene Love and Matthew Morrison, (current and former Hairspray stars). Rosemary Harris presented the award to the two-time Tony-winning director. Did we mention the masquerade costumes? Take a look at the fun!
