Longtime Broadway alum James Barbour has been holding forth at famed restaurant Sardi’s the last several months, serenading fans (and the establishment’s hundreds of celebrity portraits) as part of a Saturday night concert series. The concerts began in December, when Barbour’s love of holiday tunes prompted him to run a slate of aptly themed cabaret shows that ran from December 20 through January 4. The concert was so popular that, after sell-out engagements (and guest performers including former Tale of Two Cities co-star Brandi Burkhardt, Grease veteran Derek Keeling, Legally Blonde alum Kate Shindle and Broadway player/pop star Deborah Gibson), Barbour followed up with the equally popular Love Songs, a night of the most romantic melodies on record which played from January 31 through February 29.
