Lincoln Center' s revival of
Dinner at Eight by George S. Kaufman and Edna Ferber features a host of familiar stage actors playing various society types trying their best to get ready for a dinner party. Of course, with a script by such comic wordsmiths,
nothing goes quite as planned. Luckily, the opening night of the show on December 19 was smooth as silk. After the performance, the cast and company retired to the elegant Tavern on the Green to celebrate their good fortune.
