Talk about friends in high places! Then again, we're talking about Maria Friedman. The Olivier Award-winning Brit is back at Cafe Carlyle, and she's still attracting lunimnaries right and left. Even Stephen Sondheim, who wrote Passion, in which Friedman made a splash in the London production, stopped by on April 6. Also in attendance were some of the creators of The Woman in White, which Friedman will headline in the West End later this year.
