Everybody's favorite Tony Award winner Mary-Louise Parker is back on the New York stage for the first time in more than three years (hey, a hit TV series like
Weeds cuts into your free time), starring in the off-Broadway production of
Dead Man's Cell Phone. Hot playwright Sarah Ruhl coaxed our Ms. Parker to Playwrights Horizons with the juicy role of a mild-mannered young woman who answers you-know-what and then gets involved with the family of the deceased. After the opening night performance on March 4, M-L and her co-stars (including the divine Kathleen Chalfant as the dead man's powerhouse mom) crossed 42nd Street to party at the West Bank Café. Take a look!
