New Dramatists Pay Tribute to Meryl Streep
It's hard to think of a performer more deserving of a career achievement award than Meryl Streep. Apparently, the folks at New Dramatists feel the same way because they honored La Streep at their 55th annual benefit luncheon. The event, which took place at the Marriot Marquis in Times Square on May 27, brought together many of Streep's colleagues and admirers (and who isn't her admirer?) to celebrate her body of work and cheer the organization that has been so vital to the playwrights over the years.
