Off-Broadway, Roundabout's Overwhelming Premiere
At their off-Broadway Laura Pels Theatre, the Roundabout Theatre Company is offering the American premiere of J.T. Rogers' searing drama about the Rwanda crisis of the mid-90s, The Overwhelming. First produced at London's National Theatre last season, The Overwhelming's debut on this side of the pond stars Sam Robards, Linda Powell and recent Broadway.com Fresh Face Michael Stahl-David as an American family coming to terms with the socio-political situation in Rwanda.
