Orfeh celebrated the release of her debut CD, What Do You Want from Me, with a happening shindig at the Guest House in Chelsea on October 7. The guest list included many of Orfeh’s colleagues from Legally Blonde, including Bailey Hanks, plus an appearance from American Idol celeb and Grease star Ace Young. As for the album itself, the Sh-K-Boom release finds Ms. Orfeh pushing Broadway aside (for the moment) and gunning for pure-pop pleasure, particularly on the cheekily self-explanatory “Up Tempo Pop Song.” Check it out on iTunes or however you get your music these days.
