Playwrights Artists Toast New Space

On Monday, January 27 Playwrights Horizons hosted an “Artist Open House” to welcome its alums to the company's new home, the $27 million five-story Edith K. Ehrman building. Dozens of past Playwrights personnel gathered to catch up, check out the new space and hear Kelli O'Hara debut a song from the theater's inaugural production, My Life With Albertine. “This new space just shows so much promise,” Kirsten Childs, whose musical The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin premiered at Playwrights, told Broadway.com. “It is a delight to be involved in the continuation of such a wonderful theater.” Want to know who else showed up to toast Playwrights Horizons?
