A gaggle of high-octane Broadway talent helped Second Stage Theatre throw a first-rate benefit on April 21 at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Billed as "the First Second Stage Theatre Pro-Am Night," the evening featured "pros" such as Lillias White, Alice Ripley, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Anthony Rapp, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Laura Osnes and Billy Porter sharing the stage with the Second Stage Theatre Board Members (a.k.a. the "ams," as in amateurs). The theme? Broadway's best show-stopping rock 'n' roll moments, so bring it on!
