Leapin' Lizards! For her 30th anniversary this year, Little Orphan Annie is getting the full Daddy Warbucks treatment courtesy of Time-Life Records: Annie 30th Anniversary Cast Recording. Included in the deluxe two-disc recording will be the complete score of Martin Charnin and Charles Strouse's Tony Award-winning Best Musical as well as—and here's where musical theater fanatics can really begin rejoicing—the complete score of their never-recorded sequel Annie 2: Miss Hannigan's Revenge, which closed out of town. (The latter, of course, was revamped in 1993 for the off-Broadway musical Annie Warbucks.) Making this double CD set extra magical is the parade of stars associated with the show that are performing.
