Restauranteur Vincent Sardi, Jr. Remembered at Starry Memorial

Vincent Sardi, Jr., the man who founded the iconic Broadway hangout that bears his name, was remembered at a special memorial at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on March 13. The event, which was open to the public, featured readings and performances from Chicago's Bebe Neuwirth, LoveMusik director Hal Prince, Donald Saddler (who also directed) and Sardi's children. Although Sardi is no longer with us, his 44th Street restaurant continues to attract theater stars and fans with its acclaimed menu and famous display of celebrity caricatures.
