Ricky Ian Gordon Celebrates CD Release at Lincoln Center
From off-Broadway to opera to the Great White Way, the various showbiz worlds of composer Ricky Ian Gordon (My Life with Albertine) joined together on January 23 to celebrate the CD release of his new song cycle Orpheus and Euridice at the Rose Theater at Lincoln Center, where the work actually premiered last fall. Distributed by Ghostlight Records, Gordon's new recording features Metropolitan Opera star Elizabeth Futral, clarinetist Todd Palmer and pianist Melvin Chen. Check out the party.
