Rosie O’Donnell Pays It Forward with an All-Star Benefit

Putting her celebrity clout to good use, Rosie O’Donnell wrangled up stars of all stripes to lend their talent and presence to Passing It On, an all-star show that took place on April 27 at New World Stages. Benefiting Rosie’s Broadway Kids, an organization helps children nationwide by providing public school with free theater and mentorship programs, the event featured performances by Brian Stokes Mitchell, Orfeh and the one and only Chita Rivera. Then it was off to the after-party at Tony’s Di Napoli, where the likes of Star Jones and Penny Marshall were seen doing their part for a very good cause.
