Sherie Rene Scott Steps Into the Studio to Preserve Everyday Rapture
One of our favorite theatrical leading ladies, Sherie Rene Scott (otherwise known as the “Sh” in Sh-K-Boom Records, which she co-founded with husband Kurt Deutsch), went on the record herself July 6. The occasion: a session at Legacy Studios to preserve Everyday Rapture, the hit solo show she recently co-wrote and performed at Second Stage. Featuring everything from the best of Mr. Rogers to “On the Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe” (a salute to her Kansas hometown), the recording is sure to be rapturously received by Scott’s legion of fans.
