Singular Sensation A Chorus Line Takes a Final Bow

It really was time to "kiss the day goodbye" on August 17, as the company of A Chorus Line took a final bow at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The Tony Award-nominated revival, which opened on October 5, 2006, played a total of 759 performances during its run, each jam-packed with iconic choreography and heartfelt performances from one very talented ensemble of dedicated Broadway gypsies. Backstage at the Schoenfeld, the mood was melancholy as cast members slid into their dancing shoes for the last time as an ensemble, snapping photos and sharing hugs before a tearful final curtain. The tears didn't last long though—A Chorus Line knows there's only "one" real way to say goodbye…a party! Players, including Mario Lopez, Nick Adams, Tommy Berklund, Deidre Goodwin, Natalie Cortez and Jessica Lee Goldyn, headed to Bond 45 to toast their time in Broadway's "singular sensation."
