Soap Star Susan Lucci Dances with Hit Show Billy Elliot

Another dancing star dropped in on the already twirling stars of Billy Elliot March 3, when Emmy Award winner Susan Lucci hit the Imperial Theatre to check out one of Broadway’s biggest new sensations. Lucci, herself no slouch center stage after her stint on TV’s Dancing With the Stars in 2008, took in the boogie-heavy hit and just couldn’t resist strutting backstage to visit with the evening’s leading man, David Alvarez, and the rest of the Billy family. And it was a true All My Children kind of visit, with the bevy of youthful talents coming out of the woodwork to meet the long-running soap star for themselves.
