Starry Les Miserables Plays L.A.'s Hollywood Bowl

It was hard not to "hear the people sing" on August 8, when the magic of Broadway took Los Angeles by storm during the highly anticipated opening of Les Miserables. Produced as part of the annual Hollywood Bowl, the show featured Broadway faves Brian Stokes Mitchell, John Lloyd Young, Lea Michele and J. Mark McVey, as well as a bevy of revolution-worthy talents (including The Office star Melora Hardin), in a staged concert supported by the Hollywood Bowl's sprawling orchestra. As thousands of fans cheered (and we mean thousands), the cast took their first bows, effectively ending the whirlwind weeks of rehearsal and beginning the three-day stretch of packed performances. Broadway.com caught up with the talented army of actors as they showed sunny California how we do things back on the Great White Way. Click here to go Hollywood with Les Miz!
