Broadway Kids Care hosted its Second Annual Bake Sale at Fireman's Park on August 6. The sugary-sweet event gathered all kinds of Broadway folks, including kids who are in shows (Gypsy, South Pacific, The Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins, to name a few) and their more mature contemporaries (like August: Osage County's Mariann Mayberry, Kelly Sullivan from Young Frankenstein). Sweetest of all, proceeds from the sale of all those baked goods benefited UNICEF. Just goes to show you're never too young to make a difference. Broadway Kids Care, we salute you—and we'll take half a dozen of those cupcakes!
