Take Me Out Arrives at the Public
Richard Greenberg's Take Me Out, which finds a young iconic baseball player coming out of the closet to the chagrin of his teammates, opened on September 5 at the Joseph Papp Public Theater. The playwright, director Joe Mantello, the talented cast and several theater luminaries celebrated the occasion at the Union Square hotspot restaurant Cafe de Ville.
