The 2003 BC/EFA Flea Market Brings in the Bucks!
Sunday, September 21 was the perfect day for The Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS--it was sunny, but not too hot, and people were in a very charitable mood, as evidenced by the $9365.25 made at the Broadway.com table alone. Of course, the celebrities were out in full force. They signed autographs and helped their tables move merchandise. In total $512,000 was made for charity. That is compared to $450,000 in 2002.
