The Most Happy Fella Has a Most Happy Opening!
Frank Loesser's seminal 1956 musical The Most Happy Fella enjoyed a gala opening on March 7 for its limited-run revival at the New York City Opera. Based on Sidney Howard's They Knew What They Wanted, the production is directed by The Boy From Oz's Philip Wm. McKinley and headlined by stage, film and former Law & Order television star Paul Sorvino in his City Opera debut. The sparkling crowd gathered in the glamorous City Opera Grand Mezzanine Lobby to celebrate the 50th anniversary musical affair. Bravo!
