Theater Hall of Fame Inducts Fierstein, Cullum & More
A distinguished group of Broadway pros joined the ranks of the Theatre Hall of Fame on January 28 at a ceremony held at the Gershwin Theatre. Inductees for 2007 included actors John Cullum, Harvey Fierstein, Dana Ivey and Lois Smith; director Jack O'Brien; playwright Peter Shaffer; librettist Joseph Stein; and the late theater critic and biographer Mel Gussow. Friends and colleagues joined the honorees in seeing their names added to the roll of Hall of Famers enshrined on the Gershwin lobby wall—and Broadway.com came along to toast these very deserving stage great.
