[Title of Show]'s Meta Opening

In a fit of self-referential zeal, the Jeff Bowen-Hunter Bell musical comedy [Title of Show] opened its off-Broadway doors at the Vineyard Theatre on February 26. The show, in which Bowen and Bell also star, along with Susan Blackwell and Heidi Blickenstaff, is a musical about two guys writing a musical -- postmodernism at its best. It had its world premiere at the 2004 New York Musical Theatre Festival, and is directed and choreographed by The Light in the Piazza actor Michael Berresse. After the opening night bows, the show's team and supporters headed to the classy Café Deville on the Lower East Side to clink their glasses in celebration.
