Tony Nominees Gather for Brunch, Meet the Press
Still wearing their morning-after glow, the newly minted Tony Award nominees roused themselves early on May 17 for brunch with the press at the Marriott Marquis's View Restaurant 46 floors above Times Square. First to arrive: The Pajama Game's always affable Harry Connick, Jr., who showed off his Southern good manners as he made his way down the press line. By lunchtime, almost all the nominated stars had dropped by to express their delight before heading off to their matinee performances. Broadway.com came along for the hugfest.
