Marissa Jaret Winokur, best known as Hairspray’s Tony-winning Tracy Turnblad, is the host of new TV weight-loss competition show Dance Your Ass Off, but it was the Broadway veteran herself working her bootylicious behind off during a recent whirlwind weekend in New York City. Winokur started off by joining the Gay Pride Parade on Fifth Avenue on June 28, proudly rocking rainbow stripes in support of the city’s LGBT community while spreading word of her new show in a Dance Your Ass Off-themed set of wheels. After sleeping off the festivities, Winokur got back to work June 29, dropping in at Planet Hollywood restaurant to add her hands to the selection of starry digits hanging on the walls. Before the cement could dry on her signature, however, Winokur was off and running again, this time heading to Herald Square to celebrate her new hosting gig at a premiere party for Dance Your Ass Off.
