Tonys 2007: A Parade of Fashion Plates
On the most glamorous night of the year, the stars of Broadway put on their Sunday best on the evening of June 10 for the 61st annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall. From the newly minted Best Actress in a Play winner Julie White of Little Dog Laughed in a willowing floral chic Bill Blass gown to Grey Gardens' Best Actress in a Musical Christine Ebersole in a flaming red stunner designed especially for her by Gardens' Tony-winning costume designer William Ivey Long, the flow of fashion was, to quote a song from the 2007 Tony nommed revival The Apple Tree, "simply gooooorgeous!"
