Ugly Betty’s Stars Play it “Cool” at West Side Story

The current buzz-worthy revival of beloved classic West Side Story can add yet another enamored fan to its long, long list—actress, recording star and former Miss America Vanessa Williams! The always stylish starlet took in the show’s opening night on March 19, returning just two days later with her Ugly Betty co-stars in tow on March 21. The hit series’ America Ferrera, Michael Urie and Eric Mabius weren’t just out en masse for an average night of theater, however: the trio helped ring in Williams’ birthday, taking the b-day girl backstage to mix and mingle with the stars of her favorite Broadway show, including Matt Cavenaugh, Karen Olivo and newcomer Josefina Scaglione.
