What a Morning! 2005 Tony Nominees Do Brunch
Asking actors to gather before noon is a risky proposition; most are night owls. But the 2005 Tony nominees were more than happy to get up early and gather at the spectacular View Restaurant at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on May 11. The freshly minted nominees noshed on bagels, posed for photos and answered questions from the gazillion reporters that descended on the place. Sure, they're all contenders for the coveted award, but there was nary a whiff of competition among the gorgeous stage celebs. They were too busy smiling, spinning stories and sipping coffee.
