With Johnny Depp, Broadway Stars Attend the Movie Premiere of Sweeney Todd
Sweeney's back and the big screen's got him! The red carpet rolled and the stars descended it on Monday, December 3 at New York's Ziegfeld Theatre as a roster of Broadway's best welcomed director Tim Burton, composer Stephen Sondheim and star Johnny Depp at the movie premiere of Sweeney Todd. Along with a host of the film's stars—Alan Rickman, Sacha Baron Cohen and newcomers Ed Sanders, Jayne Wisener and Jamie Campbell Bower—we captured a pack of stars from such current shows as Spring Awakening, Mary Poppins, Cymbeline, Jersey Boys, The Grinch…, The Lion King, Grease and Legally Blonde as they thrilled to Depp and Burton's splatter-happy vision of the demon barber of Fleet Street, which opens in limited release December 21.
