Broadway's Lucky 13 Shows Off Teen Spirit at Photo Shoot
A very different kind of high school musical was gearing up at Splashlight Studios on July 9, as the young cast of new Broadway tuner 13 assembled for its first full-fledged (and grown up) photo shoot to promote the upcoming production. The show, which will begin previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre September 16, stars thirteen talented teens in the kids-only (seriously...there are no adult roles) tale of Evan Goldman, a city-boy struggling to fit in and find himself in small town Indiana after his parents' divorce. While flash bulbs flickered the energetic cast reunited for the first time since the show's Goodspeed run ended in June, stirring up the expected excitement of a cast poised to make its Broadway debut before most members have their learner's permit — and we were there to catch it all on film.
